After such experience, the student can choose in which area they want to get specialization.Īccording to Professor Luciano Soares, Insper Engineering programs go beyond the market known traditional format. One of Insper’s Engineering programs’ main characteristics is curricular table integration, which allows student to cross among different knowledge fields, in addition to Mechanical, Mechatronics and Computer Engineering’s’ theoretical and practical knowledges in the first two years. Insper’s Engineering programs’ differential “We presented the work for Insper’s partner hospital, who enjoyed the proposal a lot and will continue the project”, celebrates the student. “This method allows to reduce the time of Surgery”, says Beatriz. The program allows the surgeon to have direct access to patient’s tumor without having to look to any other external camera, ensuring higher precision in the process. The group of Beatriz Muniz, Computer Engineering Student, developed an augmented reality system as supporting method for oncological neurosurgery. “When we assessed the program’s impact, we noticed a 6.13% reduction of costs related to products flow by only modifying the route the warehouses and final client, due to taxes from places the platform suggested”, states João Bueno, Mechanical Engineering and part of the group. This was the problem we attacked in our project”, says Cavalcante. “Tax-paying in Brazil is pretty complex, what brings a high weight in product’s final price. Two other groups were granted the Highlight Certification, ensuring professional recognition on projects conduction and performance.Ībel Cavalcante, Computer Engineering student, was part of a group who developed a tool to optimize the distribution of products of a company, considering logistical and taxes issues. In addition, 10 students groups that presented the best proposals were granted with Falconi-Insper’s Excellence Certification, issued by the company Falconi Consultores de Resultado (Results Consultants). In 2022 second semester, PFE had 19 developed projects for 16 organizations and counted on participation of 74 students. Everything is possible in this knowledge integration to deliver the best proposal for partner companies”, says professor Luciano Soares, PFE academic coordinator. In those projects Mechanical Engineering students can include the ones from Mechatronics or Computer, at a cross-functional fashion. “PFE includes projects developed by students of Insper’s three Engineering programs. The initiative allows the application of acquired knowledge throughout undergraduation on developing innovative solutions for real challenges brought by school’s partner companies. PFE is a program that puts Insper students closer to the labor market and is one of Insper’s Engineers formation process conclusion’s checkpoints. On Monday, December 12th, 2022, Insper’s auditorium hosted the closure of another edition of the Engineering Final Project (PFE), integrated course on the Mechanical, Mechatronics and Computer Engineering programs, connected to the Paulo Cunha Innovation Hub. Alex Sorgente (USA) after struggling during the first two runs, eventually delivered one the most creative and versitile run ever seen in Longjiang, he took the 3rd place.8th semester students presented proposals for solving problems brought by school’s partner companies and organizations Students, professors and mentors participating 2022 2nd semester’s Engineering Final Project The Hawaian won followed by Brazilian powerhouse Luiz Francisco (BRA) who skated faster, bigger and more powerfull than everyone in the field. The Men's Final has been one of the most exiting of all time, with Heiman Reynold (USA) improving his score at each run while always deliverying impeccable 45 seconds of high level skateboarding. The Women competition has been dominated by Japanese skaters who grabbed 3 out 3 podium spots young Misugu Okamoto skated like no one else showing impressive skills that included perfect McTwists, Nosegrinds and an overall clean and stylish skateboarding, Sakura Yosozumi at the second place with a technical skateboarding approach that included a Bigspin disaster on the steep bank, Kisa Nakamura in the 3rd place with an allround approch that took her in every corner of the park with good tricks and solid style.
